Something different

Recently in my manifesting journey I read about Abraham-Hicks and the 17 seconds.  The basics behind it is to concentrate thoughts on a solitary thing, with no counter-thoughts, for 17 seconds.  Seems pretty simple, right?  It really does take concentration.  It isn't easy to keep those "but..." thoughts out.

I thought I would test it the other day, so I set myself somewhere quiet and thought of simple things.  One was about getting the brakes on my van done somehow, one was about seeing my own income coming in, and one was about losing some weight.  Nothing fancy, or so I thought.

The next day, I had no appetite.  When I got hungry, I was craving veggies, not junk.  I only had 1 can of Mountain Dew that day (usually its 5-6 per day).  I didn't think about it, really, until someone else pointed out my new "heathy kick."  It has continued for the past 3 - 4 days and I hope it keeps up.

Today my husband was home and a man came to ask about his truck.  I thought nothing of it until he told me that the man is a mechanic and they discussed a trade - the brakes on my van for the truck.  Since the truck hasn't been used in probably close to a year, it isn't any loss to us.  That's when it hit me that my latest 17 second tests had been at work.

Good things are coming... and I can't wait to write all about it.
